Grace and Peace (Shalom) to you in the Presence and Fellowship of The Holy Spirit From your study icw the above, when looking at Scripture in the context we find that it is both scripturally and historically correct. The Good Friday tradition accepted by mainline churches and denominations is based upon the traditions of men. It does not fall in line with the scriptural reference of the Jewish Passover.
We know for certain Christ Jesus is our Passover Lamb, slain even before the foundations of the World! And all dwelling on the earth will worship it, those whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb of God Who was "slain, from the foundation of the world" recorded in Rev 13:8 MKJV? This phrase holds profound theological implications about predestination. By studying Scripture, we can gain a deeper understanding of this concept and how it relates to our lives. So, let's dive in and explore this intriguing topic together!
13:8 MKJV contains the phrase "in, from the foundation of the world" which has profound implications about predestination. Let's explore this intriguing topic together by studying Scripture. Have you ever wondered about the meaning of the phrase "written in the foundation of the world" mentioned in Rev 13:8 MKJV? This particular phrase has significant theological implications related to predestination. By studying the Scriptures, we can gain a deeper understanding of this concept and how it impacts our lives. So, let's delve into this fascinating topic together!
The time of our Lord's Birth, Death, Resurrection and Ascension, are all recorded in the Biblical Feasts of God. Israel, Jews and Messianic Believers. Each of the Biblical feasts was and is the celebration of Messiah! From these Scriptures, we are reminded of God's Covenant Mandate with Israel and all Believers throughout the world. If we recall, our Lord often spoke about Him being the Vine and we the branches. We will also come across the parables of which He told icw the Kingdom of God (The Heavenly Kingdom). For instance, He spoke about the wild Olive branches engrafted with that of the natural Olive tree> Interesting though, that there are both wild and domestic Olive trees found in the Holy Land! (More about that later).
According to Scripture, we see there are both Annual Sabbaths and weekly Sabbaths. Scripture also refers to Sabbath years and Jubilee years. We also see records of High Sabbaths (High Days) being part of the Biblical feasts. The early church celebrated these feasts with the Jews (Yisrael) of their day. We see our Lord celebrate every one of these Feasts of God, which had been given as an example and shadow of the Heavenly Feasts to Moses. Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern showed to thee in the mount. But now he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant established upon better promises.
For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place should have been sought for the second. For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: - (Heb 8:5-10 KJVA)
